Hunter ed class field day at Pleasant Grove sportsman's club Saturday 14 September 2013 from 4pm - 10pm enter south west corner of building down stairs. Bring completed quiz's from internet course and 22 rifle with 50 rounds ammo. Make sure you have your hunter ed certificate from DNR so we can complete the field day. You may purchase a certificate at any division office, licensed agent. I have a full class as of today. If you want a hunter safety class I will be doing one in a couple of months. If you need one so you can get in for the draws you need to look and see if anyone else has one going. Sorry but I have to limit how many I have in my class so that I am not over whelmed on the day of class.

I am going to have a hunter safety Internet class on February 13, 2010. Time is from 4pm until 10pm. If we get things done we may even be done 8:30-9. Please call 801-318-0287 and let me know that you want to attend. I close my class when the number of students reach 20. You need to bring you quiz' from the Internet, a 22 cal rifle if you have access to one, 50 rounds of ammo and a hunter safety voucher. You will need the voucher to complete the class. Voucher's can be purchased from any store that sells hunting and fishing license's. The location of the class is 600 east center street, Pleasant Grove, Utah. There is a map on how to get there in my favorites. If under age 18 you must have your parent or guardian sign your voucher. The class consists of viewing some video's, class room exercises,written test and the best shooting on the range. If you have any questions please give me a call.

On November 27 at 5 pm I will be doing a hunter ed class, this is an Internet style. You will need to go on the DWR site and do the Internet class. You need to pass the quiz's and print them to bring to the class. You also need to get a voucher from a hunting license facility. Any place that sells hunting licences will have them. You need this to complete the class. We will be doing some on hands class learning then we do the written test. We then do the shooting at the indoor gun range. You need to bring a 22 cal rifle with about 50 rounds of ammo. Please have the guns unloaded and the action open when you come into the building. You will only load when we ask you to. This is for every ones safety. If you have ear and eye protection please bring it. I do have some for class use. The Sportsman club asks for a $1 donation per person to use the range. If you have any Questions please call me. Also you need to preregister as I close the class when it reaches 20 students. I also prefer Internet students to be at least 12 years or older. New class

I am having a Internet class on February 14 at 7am at the Pleasant Grove Sportsman Club. 600 east center street Pleasant Grove. [see map link] Please be on time as we need to get done by noon as a group will be upstairs at 1pm. Also I have one student that needs to go to work about 11am. 3/jan/2009 class

Thanks to all who attended the class on 3/Jan/2009 I hope you all enjoyed the class especially the shooting exercise. We can all always use more practice. I hope that some who read this actually come and join the Sportsman Club. Meetings on the second Thursday of each month at 7pm. I also want to thank Ryan for helping with the shooting, acting as our range master. Also those dads that helped. For those who read this I just want you to know that the Hunter ed is held in the basement and you enter on the west side and come on down the stairs. I hope to be doing another class in February or March, just keep watching and I will post it when I get things set up. Thanks to all those instructor's who are so willing to keep the hunting tradition's going. Any other instructors that need help can call me and I will see if I can free up time to help you. Also I would recommend that those taking hunter ed to go to a licence agency to get their vouchers as then you will have them the night of class and not have to try and get back with your instructor. When you buy them on line it takes a while to receive your actual permit.
